My Fashion Story

From making doll clothes as a child, to making my own bags as a teen, this had eventually led me to making my own clothes. It started after high school when I started with simple items such as skirts and matching crop tops.

Today I am able to make more complex garments and dresses for special occasions. I make my garments by tracing patterns from existing items and then altering them accordingly. My material I source from all over and my selection is usually quite meticulous.

I love what I do, especially the process of designing and creating. The best part is that I could turn my dress-making skills into something profitable, by selling my items.

I started selling my pre-loved clothes on Yaga and discovered that I could make simple things and add that to my online shop as well. My confidence grew as my sales increased. This turned out great. I gained marketing experience, customer service skills, knowledge of internet selling, merchandising and good negotiating skills with my creativity, good planning and hard work.
